Mental Health Lunch & Learn
January 18, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Every day, we navigate important conversations at home and in the workplace. And our ability to regulate and respond to others is critical to carrying them out effectively.
To actively listen and truly be present with others, we need to create a safe emotional climate internally within ourselves and externally. This 2-hour workshop brings together foundations of Social Emotional Learning with an equity focus to inform participants on how to have challenging values-based conversations about issues of identity and bias. Participants will learn what helps and what hinders healthy dialogue, and they will be given time to practice skills for interrupting bias, prejudice, and bigotry.
