The virtual conference theme, "Resiliency, Intersectionality, and Emerging Challenges in LGBTQ+ Health Care" will challenge attendees who seek to understand the unique health considerations and barriers to health care in the LGBTQ+ population to expand their knowledge of how to provide (and expect) respectful, patient-centered, culturally competent health care. Attendees will develop skills to establish rapport, recognize barriers to medical care, learn to define LGBTQ+ competent primary care, and identify the unique health risks in the LGBTQ+ population.
