Research shows that stigma, lack of cultural sensitivity, and unconscious bias effect the quality of life of LGBTQ+ individuals and the quality of mental health care LGBTQ+ people receive.
This virtual lunch and learn will discuss the language and meaning of our community as well as an in-depth reflection on the ways that frontline staff can best support the LGBTQ+ community especially our transgender siblings.
