Erika’s Lighthouse is looking for 7th to 9th grade students to share their experiences with adolescent depression for their new Level II program video.
These real-life stories can help other middle school students by promoting help-seeking and reducing the stigma around mental health issues.
Applicants should currently be in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade and feel comfortable talking about your journey with depression. In addition to telling their story, Erika's Lighthouse wants to know about their interests, coping strategies used to stay mentally healthy, and what positive advice they have for other youth who may be struggling with depression.
This video is intended for use by educators who utilize the Erika’s Lighthouse materials with their students, primarily in grades 5-9.
