Valle Vista Health System currently has 4 open spots in their girl's residential treatment program. This program is for girls ages 12-17 who have already had 2 previous acute inpatient stays (those stays could be with any acute hospital) within the past year but are still needing more care. Length of stay is typically 6 months to a year before going home.
Youth will attend class every day and are taught by teachers from the Greenwood Schools Corporation, so they don't fall behind while they are in Valle. Valle also has specialty tracks such as human trafficking and substance use, that will help those who have experienced specific types of trauma learn to cope with those traumas.
