A Healthier Hamilton County: Systems of Care

What is a ‘System of Care’?

A System of Care is a coordinated partnership and network of agencies, professionals, and community members, including youth and families, who band together to improve services and supports in their communities.  It is designed to provide guided support through collaborative tools and resources with the goal of improving the health and happiness of our community.

Hamilton County Indiana currently ranks at or near the top of a combination of state and national health data surveys and health statistics. While recognizing these high marks, our county rankings must also be viewed within the context of a state that has some of the poorest physical and mental health rankings in the nation.
