Indiana-specific Tobacco Retailer Clerk training

The Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction in conjunction with Prevention Insights has created an Indiana-specific tobacco retailer clerk training. The training explains Indiana specific laws around underage sale of tobacco products, what those products are and how to properly check an ID. This is an interactive training that has periodic knowledge checks throughout and also provides a certificate of completion. It is recommended that all tobacco retailers keep records of employees completing this and that they also participate in a yearly training.

Created specifically for our Indiana retailers, the training fills the gap in large company trainings that may not include Indiana specific laws and smaller establishments that may not have the ability to pay for or create a training for their clerks. The training is free and can be found by clicking here and on the DMHA Prevention website > https://iprc.iu.edu/training/courses/Indiana-Retailer-Tobacco-Training/#/
