All children should have equitable access to the social connections, safe spaces, and services that contribute to healthy development. For our kids to succeed, they must be healthy.
Youth workers are a critical protective factor in young people’s lives, helping them make the decisions and connections that lead to their improved well-being and improved future opportunities. For our most vulnerable children’s needs, specifically their mental and physical health, youth-serving organizations are resources for resilience, social connection, concrete support, knowledge, and emotional competence.
