Local Military Resources shared in local newspaper

The Hamilton County Veterans Corp is asking for your help in creating the ‘Hamilton County Veteran Community Newsletter’ in the Hamilton County Reporter for May!!

There is a full page for the Hamilton County Veteran Community Newsletter in the Reporter! It runs every Saturday in their online edition. April was all about our local Veteran Service Officers, our service organizations, and the 5 American Legion Posts and the 2 VFW Posts in Hamilton County. HCVC are introducing them to their neighbors and community so everyone will know more about what goes on, how to get the resources/benefits they need and how to help our Posts to stick around and care for our Veterans in the future.

For the May page, HCVC are looking to start adding in any Military/Veteran events, activities taking place for the next month in Hamilton County (or nearby) so our neighbors will know and hopefully show up or help make it happen. They will also be looking at our 7 Veteran Posts asking their auxiliary units to send us their information on activities, charities, anything their neighbors should know about them and how they may join or help. We will also start running updates on our Hamilton County 'Stronger Veterans Stronger Communities Coalition' and the status of the Governor’s Challenge preventing Veteran suicide.

The April Reporter Veteran Community page is here on page 8:

If you all want to see anything else in our Hamilton County Veteran Community Column, please let HCVC know.

● The first article was in the Noblesville Current Apr 9th and is here:

● Please send your events, activities, flyers and descriptions to Bill Doss at

doss@thefreedompt.com and HCVC will incorporate them into the Newsletter! If you update

HCVC every month of your coming activities, they can keep them rolling out into the Newsletter.
