MHA Releases BIPOC Mental Health Month Toolkit

This year's theme for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) Mental Health Month is #BeyondTheNumbers. Throughout the month of July, MHA will explore the nuances and uniqueness in BIPOC communities. To move away from generalizations and focus on the uniqueness of individual communities, this year's toolkit breaks up the term BIPOC into six core cultural categories and within each category you will find information on historical context, barriers to well-being, cultural beliefs, strengths and resiliency factors, and calls to action.
