“Power of Peers: Recovery Through Connection,” will be streamed virtually on May 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at in.gov/recovery/IMHAC. During this event, DMHA and its partners will showcase how peers with lived experience provide a low-barrier access point to support, treatment, connection, and resource navigation. Peers are a bridge to community services that propel Indiana’s behavioral health care system. DMHA and its partners will demonstrate how peers can be integrated into the continuum of care by highlighting successful models from various sectors.
