White House Fact Sheet Features Focus on Mental Health
In advance of the State of the Union address, the White House released a fact sheet covering priorities to address the ongoing mental health crisis, including efforts to support children, youth, young adults, and their families. The White House's priorities include initiatives to improve school-based mental health care, enhance crisis services with a specific mention of mobile response, and promote youth resilience. Along with the fact sheet, the White House also released the White House Report on Mental Health Research Priorities, which also prioritizes supporting youth mental health and strengthening crisis response systems.
