Your past, present, and future self

Try this: Write a letter to your future self. Note how you’re feeling right now, where you’re at in life, and your goals for the next few months. Seal it and set a reminder to open it in six months to reflect back on what’s changed.

Think on this: Do certain people bring out parts of yourself that you don’t like? Is it time to part ways?

Remember this: Your mental health is worth prioritizing.

In 2021, nearly 3 in 5 teen girls reported feeling persistently sad or hopeless—the highest recorded level in a decade, according to a recent CDC report (see the Youth Risk Behavior Survey here > https://www.cdc.gov/healthyyouth/data/yrbs/pdf/YRBS_Data-Summary-Trends_Report2023_508.pdf) Meanwhile, 29% of male students reported similar feelings. If you can relate, here’s how to know if what you’re dealing with might be depression (from Wondermind > https://www.wondermind.com/article/what-is-depression/).
