Youth Mental Health First Aid training on Feb. 29 hosted by the Christian Theological Seminar and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
This training consists of 2 hours of self-paced online pre-course work (sent by instructor the week before the course) and an in-person instructor led training.
Youth Mental Health First Aid is a national certification regulated by the National Council of Mental Wellbeing (NCMW) which is located in Washington, D.C. It is on the same level of certification as First Aid & Safety and CPR certifications. After completing the course, participants receive a national certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
